Pray For Irene

I know Irene is a category one, but we should still pray for Irene, because I would be scared if I were in the hurricane right now. We can just hope that it will die down and not get worse, because it used to be a category three. We a tracking hurricanes in history and there is a tropical depression, and it might form into a tropical storm, which might turn into a hurricane. So also pray that will die over the next few days.

Happy Easter!!

I looked at the mad mob of people yelling, “Crucify Him! Crucify Him!”

I gazed at the man’s brightness. He was shining in white clothes, and His blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight.

He looked perfectly innocent to me, but I didn’t want to get strangled by the mad mob of people, so I just looked around, and pretended that this whole thing was just a mirage.

Well, I guess that was the wrong thing to do because guess what they did?

The whipped him in the back and pierced his sides and put thorns on his head and nailed his hands and feet into a big brown cross.

Maybe I should have stood up and screamed, “Don’t crucify Him! He is innocent.”

But alas, all because of me and a few other people who wouldn’t stand up and say it ruined His life.

I went up on the hill to see the poor man. Would he be okay?

People kept giving him mean laughs and drinks of wine vinegar on sponges.

But I had a feeling in my gut He wasn’t dead because he looked weakly up at the sky and said “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabacthani?” which meant, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

I had a feeling that He was God’s son.

Soon He was in a tomb with stones covering it.

I heard people saying something called an angel (God’s messenger), said, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see Him.’ Now I have told you.”

I believed it first thing. I wish I could have said goodbye, because He rose into the heavens and said He would be back.

And I would be waiting first thing when He got back.

Letters To God -- Movie Review

Main Thing - Tyler has cancer. But he is strong enough in Christ that he goes on the roof and writes a letter to God.

Brady is the mailman. He always smiles at the letters to God from Tyler.

Soon he actually meets Tyler. But Brady loves this little kid, even though he threw up on his shoes the first day they met.

Brady doesn't believe in God so he is a drinking man. Soon, after Brady and Tyler are good friends, he reads Tyler's notes. Then the church said to decide what to do with them on his own.

My Honest Opinion- This is a good movie but I didn't like how they made it so sad.

I mean I won't tell you what happens because I think you should watch the movie and find out, although you can guess.

So turn off the lights, pop some popcorn, and it's time to watch a movie!

The Lakehouse

In June sometime before fathers day we went to a lakehouse. It was a beautiful views and filled with wonder. The first thing I did when I got there was I ran up and down the stairs, admiring the awesome design and furniture.
This was a really creative lakehouse and I will never forget it. I slept in a room below the roof. It was an A-frame and I was IN the A-frame...so my room was pointy. It had two beds, I slept in it with my sister.
I can't tell too much about it because I don't want the owners to get mad at me. I just thought I'd tell you about the awesomeness.

You Can Change!

I am Allyson Armstrong, and I am going to tell you a really awesome thing about my life.

I have Eczema all over my body. (My feet are the absolute worst) Whenever I scratch it, my friends say that it is annoying...because there is an really cruddy noise when I scratch it. I get made fun of at church and school. "Your skin is ugly!!" one would say, "What is that? It's soo hideous, how do you even walk with that stuff?" another would say.

My eyes are as weak as tea without flavor. I can't read without my glasses, I can't see small things without them. And one thing is I don't have the right lenses, so I have to take my glasses off and squint.

I can't run two minutes without taking my asthma medicine...I have to take it every morning and night, everyday!

I went to the doctor and they said I'm allergic to almost everything. For example...dust, carpet, furry things! I can't believe it!

When I was born, I had a hole in my heart...(never tell that! JK)

But after I became a christian, it started to improve. Although I still have them, I am grateful that I have Him (GOD) in my life because I would've never succeeded. I would've probably never mad it if I wasn't born with a christian family. God has changed my life, and He can change yours someday if you become one.

LEAD THE WORLD, CHANGE THE WORLD, MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER AND MORE GODLY PLACE!!!!! Please!

Abby

my dog abby, small and yippy. she bites, she barks, skinny and nippy. she ruffs all day, and snores all night. she acts so lazy. and when the puppys are here, she gets all crazy. does she ever be quiet? I don't know, but this is one thing. She does show. at christmas time, she sleeps by the fire, because the snow, may tire. she is so beutifle. her fur shines in the light, her bark echos, all throughout the night. the sound of her claws, the tiny patter of her paws. the sound, rings through my head. thinking how cute she is, when she is in her bed. her paws are brown, her body is black, the black shining, throughout the down town. her eyes so wet, and her nose so set. it twinkles and twinkles, in a cadet. the bark so sharp, the yip so fit. i love abby. and thats the best part!

My Incredible Family

I have an AMAZING family! I have a beautiful mom who's great with kids and only worships Jesus. She was on our church praise team. Only, now, she doesn't do it anymore :-(. But I love her more than any mom in the world, because she's my mom!

I have a really great dad who works every day but Sunday and Saturday. He helps me with studying for my math tests and he's EXTREMELY good at science, especially space science. Which I love - he also helps me with that. He buys everything we need, he drives us everywhere on car trips, and loves animals - like me.

My sister is so nice! She let's me take pictures and movies on her computer because she is the only one who has a movie camera on her computer - besides my mom, her's can only take pictures. She and I love to do everything together, except for when she's on play-dates and stuff, and we have a lot of things in common like: we love electronics, we love dogs, we hate homework - doesn't everybody? - we LOVE to blog, we both want a phone, and we love to get muddy

My brother loves me too. When I want to play wii with him, he says "How about an hour then I get to play Call of Duty" or whatever the game he's obsessed with. So he takes up an hour of his day spending time with me, when he really doesn't want to - now that's sacrificial! - and he loves me a lot! And I love him.

I have three wonderful dogs: Princess - she is mine - Cinnamon - my sister's - and Abby - the family dog. Abby's a Toy Manchester Terrier, Princess and Cinnamon are long-hair Chihuahuas. I love them more than my computer - no offense - and more than blogging - no offense again. I love every one of them and they're great!

All those "goods" and "greats" of my family equals "incredible"!!!

The Time We Got a Dog

I have a Chihuahua of my very own! We saw them in their cage one day when my dad and I got to take it out and pet two of them. We petted the two girls. They were so sweet. One dog ran to me and the other to my dad. At first [giggle] I called them Chi and Chi chi. When we got home at dinner, I told Mom and my sister everything about them. Annie said she would've liked to see them; so we went the next day. She adored them right away when the cinnamon colored Chihuahua ran to her. The other ran to me. Dad asked us if we really really wanted these dogs or the other one. We also pet a Havalon (mix of a Havanese and a ?) I nodded so hard; I really wanted these. So we got them, without our mom knowing, and I named mine Princess, who now trusts me, and my sister named her's Cinnamon, who now trusts her. And Mom wasn't mad a bit. She just didn't know if we were ready. But we were cause God told us it was our time!

NASA

I went to Alabama for my 2009's Thanksgiving Break! It was the best thanksgiving ever! We went to a place called the NASA Space center. Now I'm studying space. It's so neat. Do you know what "NASA" means? It means national aeronautics space administration. So I've been studying mostly about the planet and astronauts and space missions. I've actually only studied two space missions; Apollo 11 and Apollo 13. I know that the first dog on the moon was Russian and named Laika. What's sad about that is she died in that mission, and never made it back home to safety. I also know the planets in order: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. What about Pluto? Well, that's not considered a planet it's called a "dwarf planet." If you have any questions about space, comment and I'll comment back.

The Florida Trip

In 2008, I went on a trip to Orlando, Florida. I went—for my first time ever—to Disney World™. I had a lot of fun! First, we went to a park called Animal Kingdom. The scariest ride to me was Dinosaur, because I cried on that one. I did not like it at all; It was too loud, scary, and older kid-like (I went when I was nine). My favorite ride would be Mount Everest. It was awesome! The next day we went to the park Epcott. We saw a huge disco ball-like thing; but it didn’t disco. My favorite ride was Soarin’, Test Track, and another I can’t remember. The next park we went to was called GMC Hollywood Studios. I didn’t like that one that much because it was for teenagers. Ugh!! And the last: Magic Kingdom. That park we went to twice because we went for my sister’s birthday; she chose that park for her birthday. I honestly liked the fireworks. So that’s my story about my awesome time at Disney World™. After that, we went to a condo on the beach. Actually, we stayed in that same condo the whole time. So… that… is… my… story.

Eternal Life

Have you ever wondered what eternal life is? Well, look at the verse in the Bible "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life!" What that means is only if you are a Christian, you can go up to heaven. So in heaven, you do not die, you go up to heaven to be with God. You'll see all the remaining Christians like His disciples. And also, when the Anti-Christ comes, and all Christians go up to heaven, the Anti-Christ will destroy the earth so God makes a new world and we will all live together as Christians and have a happy life. This is true because it says so in the Bible. So go read your Bible every day to find out if I'm right. And if I'm not right, comment and say "no" or something.
